Agreed.
Taking a few turns through the classics of Charles Dickens - "The Posthumous Papers of the Pickwick Club". Enough Swords 'n Sorcery for a bit. Although the man put out some of the finest descriptive writing in the English language, I prolly won't last too long, but we'll see.

Really? Count me in for Clash of Kings..
Although Storm of Swords did have alot of "important" people die at random in the middle of the book. I just feel like the story at the wall was going nowhere....and what about the Targaryen girl? Seemed like a waste of pages.
I think I slept through half of feast for crows....bigtime space filler book.

Just finished Swag. Not bad if you are into crime fiction. The dialogue between the characters was really good. Kind of short though at 250 pages.
Now I'm reading Wolfsangel by MD Lachlan. A fantasy book about vikings, gods and werewolves. What's not to like?

Born to Run by Christopher McDougall. I had been planning to for awhile but just never did. The person who the main character was based on was found dead a few weeks ago. The story prompted me to finally pick up the book.

Just finished Wolfsangel. I enjoyed it. It's a blend of Norse myth and magic. Kind of dark and pretty strange. I plan to pick up the sequel Fenrir.
Started Altered Carbon by Richard Morgan last night. I believe it's a Sci fi/noir type book. Should be fun.

I have that one. My dad's uncle was in that platoon. "the frozen chosin". Just finished Unbreakable by Laura Hillibrand... Kick ass book for anyone, especially a WWII buff.
