Wanting to know if anyone has seen Olympus Has Fallen? How was it?
Not sure if we had a movie thread or not.

Saw it last night. Didn't want to see it in theaters. Didn't look worth it. It wasn't. Die Hard in the White House. Not a bad movie. But was not worth my $7.50

Yea. I'm really excited about The Place Beyond The Pines this Friday. Looks like a solid film.

No interest. I'm sick of that genre. Action movies really do very little for me anymore. I don't mind action movies but I need substance and a unique plot that sucks me into the story.

When I was 5 years old, my Uncle Dominic took me to Ebbetts Field in Brooklyn to see "Jack Robinson and the Trolley Dodgers'. He was at the end of his career then, but I remember he got two hits, one a double, a walk and scored a run. As an Italian immigrant, my uncle was more open to minorities in the league than most at that time. There were quite a few pejorative epithets we heard being screamed at him. I was instructed to NEVER use that word in my whole life, or no more ball games. I loved me some baseball and hot diggity dogs, so I kept my trap shut but good!

lol...saw the preview's for "spring breakers" the other night while watching something on HULU. My wife's actual comment was something along the line of "that's gotta be the stupidest s*&% I've ever seen".
