Anyone tune in to this? I've watched about half of the first episode so far and enjoyed it.

I thought they just might go from page 1 and go from there and I was iffy about the ninja angels also but I'm not very familiar with the bible like I prolly should either

Watched The Bible, and Vikings. Both were good, i think Vikings will end up being great. I do wish The Bible was shown on consecutive days instead of week to week.

At what times does Vikings usually come on? I've caught parts of an episode here and there and it looks really good.
The Bible is a lot more graphic than I expected... not that that is necessarily a bad thing. It's just different than I thought it would be. But it's good.

Vikings comes on after the Bible on History. Sunday at 10pm ET and episode 2 just finished last night

Same, same. From what we've seen in drop ins, they have a lot of high melodrama as their preferred format. I guess we'll watch in the dog days.

Was watching the second episode from last week to catch up. When Samson punches that one guy in the jail I laughed so hard.

Just saw on Yahoo that they are in hot water because the guy playing the devil in the series looks kinda like obama. shhsshhhh the sensitivity these days. No one cared that swayzee was robbing banks in a Regan mask.

It's decent. A bit melodramatic and a bit too much footage of a character "emoting" for me. We do intend to stick with it as the wife is all about Jesus. Me, I like when the swords are out, and they blow stuff up and/or set it on fire. Brimstone dropping on Soddom was way cool. As I have it on DVR, it will be revisited several times.

Abraham stood around for minutes looking like he was straining to fart. I wanted to see more plagues too. The frogs would have been cool. Some of the special effects are pretty good. I liked the burning bush. I need that trick in my repertoire. I have a neighbor who needs a "visitation from god." AND his little yip yip ugly dog, who craps where I set out my garbage cans.

ugh...I've been without regular TV for over a year now after I cussed out our local digital cable provider for their epic level of crappiness. In an effort to save some $....( according to my wife all I watched was ESPN and the History channel). I'm thinking about going back in. I've watched HULU/VUDU/Netflix/Amazon, etc,etc. DirecTV or Dish Network? I live in the woods...not a lot of options.
