  • Exactly what the producers wanted. They need to quit on bringing former players back again, and again, and again, and yet again. Need a lotta mo healthily put together honeys. New meat. I want them to bring back the challenges where the winner has to eat more wee beasties than everyone else.

  • Man, hadn't seen this thread. I didn't think anybody besides me watched this show anymore.

    Last week's show was pretty epic from a strategy stand point. 12 players left is always a turning point. I thought Philip was a paper tiger but he may actually have some power to be able to kick Corrine just like that.

    She got too excited when she was gathering numbers and told one too many people. As soon as she had Malcolm, herself, Mike ("the gay"), Reynold, and Reynold Jr she should have agreed to Philip to split the vote. It would have gone Philip 5, Mike 4, Jr 3.

    They know they're allowed to lie right?

  • Just for once, I would like to see one of the Alpha males take the top spot. To do that they'll have to take out all the women, which they never seem to be smart enough to do.

  • Nash, they need them to win the jury votes later and to ride their coattails to Final 3. I expect Malcolm to dominate all physical challenges

  • Do you think most people are putting up with Phillip so they can take him to the end again and have an easy win? That worked well for Boston Rob but I think Philips game has improved a lot and that he could actually get some respect from the jury this time around.

    I respectfully disagree. Remember the 5 women that took out all the men? Also, several times recently, two men and one weak and lazy woman have hit the final three, only to have the useless chick win the money. If you take the women out, like they did the men, then the Jury HAS to vote for one of the men. No chance to give it to a weak sister with a sob story. Take out the women at every opportunity.

    I am almost never surprised by anything that happens on Survivor but my jaw hit the floor right before Jeff read the votes. To his credit Malcolm read Philip like an open book, he just didn't take that one next step to realize it was Michael and not himself. And honestly, it was Dawn's inability to calm Andrea down that kept Andrea in the game. Dawn is so lame.

  • I'm going to list the people I don't think can win it anymore. Dawn, Malcolm, Phillip, Eddie, Andrea, the new older lady, the other fan guy. So that leaves Cochran, Ice Cream Scooper, and Brenda.

    Malcolm screwed himself tonight. They're not gonna vote a fan to win. Dawn is crazy. Phillip is delusional. Andrea is the only one with potential from the group. She got scared tonight though and didn't pull the trigger. It would have backfired on her in hindsight but that fear is why she won't finish strong.

    I kinda agree with Malcolm but don't forget, nobody knows he has an idol. That's why getting Reynold to hand his over was so smart.

    Malcolm has a shot if he can play his idol properly. Of course, they'll probably split the votes to hedge against it.

    So Phillip, Sherri, Dawn, and Andrea are solid.

    I think Cochran and Brenda could be flipped to Malcolm, giving them 5 plus an idol.

    Good question on the first statement. My guess is she is viewed as a potential power threat.

    Dawn, is typical of people who live in a fairly protected environment, who are pretty much unable to adapt to change. She mentions she has 6 kids, and you don't manage those kinds o numbers without very set in place routines. She's good people, just not suited for this game. I suspect she was brought back as a "type" if you will, by the producers to keep all age and gender demographics viewing - in order to sell advertising the insertions they garner, at the highest rate possible.

    Some of their "Favorites" choices were just bad. Dawn, Brandon, Corrine, Brenda (who finally got to talk this episode!), are not the first people I think of when discussing Survivor Favorites.

    They should just put Parvati in every season.

    I just watched last nights episode on the DVR. Mind-blown. I also wanted Malcolm to wait to play the 2nd idol but then enjoyed the other alliance scramble. I could not be more happy that Phillip is gone. It's crazy that Malcolm could have kept his idol because Ice Cream Cone actually voted for Phillip
