I even like the Yankees, but I like the Rays betta. Wish they had kept the name DEBIL RAYS! I loved that.

Pena is one of those guys who for 10 days will carry the whole team, then disappear for 2-3 weeks. Not to worry, Longoria and others will pick him up.

Go RAYS, My buddy and I made the TV on Friday. Longos bomb landed about 30 ft from us. Great start to the seaon. Im nervous about are next two series. we have a lot of young guys who dont play well during day games.

Well......................................miscreancy runs true in my family. My favorite Aunty who lives in Guflprot, Fl and claims to be a witch, got sent out of the stadium, in that: She did, with malice aforethought, from behind - pour a jumbo size orange drink on the coconut of a Yankees fan after removing his cap, due to his anti-Rays diatribe which she felt was an egregious insult. As she is past age 70, the arresting officers elected to not put her in handcuffs, as they cited her tendency to swing a very large handbag at anyone that offered to "Touch Her Person".

My cuz, her daughter spilled the beans. Apparently, Aunty is banned from the statium for an indeterminate amount of time. Too bad, she has a free season pass.

Also, since Fister is on the DL, you will be getting Drew Smyly firsst MLB start on Thursday. Kind of lucked out for you guys, instead of getting a guy who had a sub 3 era last year you get a guy who is 2 years out of being drafted who has never pitched in MLB
At least we have MVP going tomorrow

Positive, we were going to skip the 5th starter spot this time around since we had a day off friday and a day off yesterday, Verlander will be on 5 days rest for Wednesday start (he pitched last Thursday). Smyly, who was going to be the fifth starter and wasnt going to pitch until Saturday is now taking the 2nd spot with Fister on DL and will pitch Thursday. We are calling up Wilk to fill in in the 5th spot on Saturday.

Also, MLB.com says Thursday is going to be Niemann v. Smyly and Wednesday is Verlander v. Shields. So looks like Shields is going tomorrow too

Dangit, Avila gets the day off. Going from an all star catcher to Gerald "cant hit .200" Laird.....I guess against a LHP is the day to give Avila off, but that stinks. Still plenty of firepower in that offense however.

Again, just watching on gametracker, but it looks like neither pitcher is helping himself out
Rays score on a hbp and then a walk with bases loaded from Porcello and then the Tigers score on a wild pitch from Moore.
