Man, that sucks. Mouth pain like that is some of the worst. Hurts into the bones.

I can commiserate and empathize. I have 7 metal rods in my face, holding faux toofies in place. It hurts right now, but gets better. For some years I was not able to bite into an apple or chew a steak. Hang tough lad. It heals.

I wanna rip these effin stitches right outta my mouth

The pain from the surgery only lasted one day. Now its the irritation of the stitches more than anything. You might have a better experience unless you have Army dentist too...

that sucks. I had an upper jaw surgery on Dec. 4 in which they broke my upper jaw in half and set it forward a few inches to correct an underbite that I had. They had to cut through the sinus in order to do the surgery and I will have four screws permanently in my face. I had a splint on my upper jaw for 5 weeks and just a few days ago got it off. It sucked real bad for about 5 days but from then on out I was doing alright just annoyed with the splint. Good to have it all done with now though for the most part.
