YES! While I still have to wait for the definitive reading of the scan from the Big Bucket of Dung Radiologist Ice Holiness, the preliminary indication is: the final tumor has shrunk down by 2/3rds. That's good news, and the short chemo-blasts I have to take once in a while are continuing to help the tube surgeries.
Uncle Nash = 3-1/2 tumors kilt - almost. Liver Crabs = 1/2 tumors still visible but fading into the tar pit.

Funny thing. I was sitting in the Radiology waiting room, and reading a news blurb about some third world country, where there is flagrant genocidal murder of it's own citizens going on by their Govt., and basic food stuffs aid is confiscated by the henchmen and sold at exorbitant prices. Folks are dying in the streets from starvation, and there is little if any POTABLE water to drink and wash in. Mostly highly tainted and in some outlying areas, deliberately poisoned sources.
Makes me feel humble, and realize Uncle Nash ain't got it so bad after all.
I don't know if I can do this without starting a fire, but there is one effort being made in Africa that is worth my money. Project Peanut Butter. We've been helping them from their inception, and know that 100% of the money donated goes to make the Peanut Butter/Milk Solids mixture, they distribute to women who can't get nutrition for their children any other way - except perhaps prostitution. Check it out. Even $25.00 can feed a kid. I will attempt to put the link on here, but will most likely fail miserably.

Hungry kids and parent(s) struggling to make ends meet, yet we have a steady stream of $$$ going out to foreign countries that would just assume slit our throats as look at us.
Tuition assistance for troops has been cut due to "sequestor" and military personnel are now classified as non-essential government employees.
As a people, I just wish we could get our priorities in order and reign in some of the craziness going on.
