Oh yeah. Missed it tonight, but have it on the DVR. I've been a big fan of Olyphant since Deadwood, and bought all 7 seasons of "The Shield" where Walton Goggins starred - now doing an excellent job as Boyd Crowder. The show is very smart, well written and the ensemble acting is as spot on as one could want. Elmore Leonard, who's short story "Fire in the Hole" is the major springboard for the series, is a major consultant on the set, and lends the light of his countenance to everything from the production sets to the dialogue. It's my hope this can continue for at least several more years. Recently, Jim Beaver, a throwback from Deadwood "Ellsworth", has recently joined this cast as a rival candidate for "Shrffh", guaranteeing some sparks. and in season 2, "Dan Dority" also of Deadwood fame, made an appearance as a con. It's as cutting edge as possible without the HBO allowable type of nekkidness and nastiness - but well worth your time. Watch for Rich Gomez, one of the main characters from the short lived "What About Brian", as the Asst. St., District Atty. This guy is always at the top of his game. Check it out - you won't be sorry.

Deadwood, the first two seasons was awesome. Justified is really awesome too, the man
from Detroit is great, but Boyd, by far is the best character to me.

I thought it was good, but I can think of a lot of other shows I'd rather watch than Deadwood. Everyone gets all up in arms about it but I just don't get it.

Deadwood went OTT, and it was the same dragged out crap over and over.
Now it did have interesting characters, no doubt, but the stories and plotlines were never going anywhere, they just dragged on and on.

Mayhaps on Deadwood, but the dialogue was fun, and the sets were as true to the period as they could make them. There were some very memorable scenes in the show. I still watch a fav episode on the 'puter, if the women are hogging the big screen with crylady crapola shows.
Hey equa. There's gonna be a showdown 'tween Raylan and the Perv from Motor City soon boyo! Limehouse is gointa figure prominently in this when we least expect it. I gotta a weird feelin' about that. Ava is runnin' hoes now - so that's gonna backfire on Boyd somehow too.

I wish they'd bring back the HUGE redneck swamp people with the swastikas tatooed on their gut, or their ugly cousins. They were a scream. Got Kilt though, so we need some "new meat".

No doubt the showdown is coming. I'm sure they'll save that for next week. Curious as to what's going to happen with Dickie. I would think he bites the dust this season.

Dickie is a veteran who helped get pvt ryan home, he should get mroe respect.
On that note, so is Bubba, nice to see he left the shrimp biz, for the BBQ biz.

You just know "Bubba" is gonna field dress him some redneck or "holler" detritus with some o dem cutters he's always stroppin'.

Yeah, I had to DVR it, as the wife has to watch her crygirl smartmouth lady Dr. whodunit.
Ava has an open invitation to spend some time with me in the hot tub any time at all. Clothing optional. Can't bring her shootin' iron though!
