His eye for the ball at 19-years old is phenomenal. His bat speed is already the best on the team. And you have to love his old school approach for the game -- always going 100mph down the base path, even if it's a routine grounder. Once he develops physically, and his power catches up with his eyes and hands, we're talking about Matt Kemp/Josh Hamilton potentially down the road.
Nationals are going to be around for a long time. They won't be just some flash in the pan like the Florida Marlins who dump everyone before their contracts expire. They have already locked up all their top talent to 2017 (some longer..), and have a deep farm system with some great prospects like Purke, Meyer, Moore, Goodwin, Hood, etc.

Bryce Harper has skipped a lot of steps in his baseball career: most of college, his last two years of high school, anonymity. Harper is that rare person whose talent is so outrageous that the rest of him has to catch up to it.
