Any runners, physical therapists, doctors, or athletic trainers on this board who could help me out?
I was diagnosed with IT band syndrome a little over a month ago. Of course, I developed it from running. Well, I've been lazy as far as my personal rehab goes as I've done just about....nothing. I have a foam roller, but have yet to use it.
I guess I thought just giving it a month or so off would be fine, but I tried to spin today (like an idiot) and the end result was not as I had planned. So, anyone got any advice on this kind of issue? I miss running and doing cardio activities like basketball and spinning and I really want to get back into that stuff.

Sean.
I was unfamiliar with this until you posted and I looked it up. If I may offer a suggestion, there is good information on web-md and the mayo clinic websites. Also if you have time, google IT Band Syndrome Therapy.
Best of luck.
