Im excited for the show though because of the cross play capabilities. It will be awesome to play the same franchise or same RTTS on both systems. They also have a bundle where you can but the games together for cheaper. Normally vita games are $40 and ps3 $60 I think but the show ps3/vita bundle is $80 total.
It is also like a mini ipad, has an internet browser, you can get apps like netflix on it. Im not sure how the cross play files work but Ive read that they are saved to the cloud so Im not sure if that will take up space on the memory card or not.
Ive never had a handheld system before, so I dont have much comparison purposes, but it is pretty sweet system so far.

I saw the ad for the MLB where you buy both you get $20 off..Ive got a psp go and i just use that for the psone classics that i wanted to buy like FF 7,9 and chrono trigger and after I read where you cant get those for the vita right now i just couldnt justify buying it right off the bat..Just from the little i played of it at best buy it seemed like it was a beast of a hand held machine. Hows the battery life for it?

People pay for that stuff is because most of them are too lazy to actually take 10 minutes to do research on the stuff...What most people dont realize is that places like BB, Wal mart, HH Gregg thats where they make most of the tv money..All the accessories are marked up so high the profit margin is much higher than the tv's

I have not messed with the settings yet, but on factory default settings for brightness and stuff it has lasted me about 4 hours or so.
I think I read you can use psp game on the vita, but I didnt have a psp so I havent looked into it
Ya and that deal is what I was talking about, if you bought both separately you are talking like $100 but you can buy them together for $80. Id assume they do that with most cross play capable games in the future.

Yep...so many cheap cable sites online and it makes ZERO difference in terms of quality.
Even Wal-mart rips people off on cables charging 20 bucks for fiber optic cables and stuff like that. Online is the way to go by a mile.

I think you can get the classic version on PSN...is that not what you meant? You meant like digitally remastered for PS3??
BTW when I was a kid I got my PS taken away by parents for playing FFT all day instead of mowing the lawn. I literally spent 8+ hours on it cuz I was hooked to the tactical battle system.

No i was talking about completely remastering from the ground up with the graffics to the sound and actually have speech..Ive got it on my ps3 along with IX and chrono trigger along with my psp go...As long as ive played 7 and have all the materia mastered every weapon I still cant beat Ruby Weapon

Yeah I quit 7 at the end of the game because I couldn't beat it. Look online and see if there's anything you can do.
I really liked FFX for the PS2. It had voices and blitz ball was pretty fun to play.

Beating it isnt a problem for me all you pretty much gotta do is when you get to Safer Sephiroth is just do knights of the round and have mime for the other characters then just keep doing that over n over til you beat him...Yea X was really good especially blitzball that was fun as hell....I hate the ending tho when you beat sin it just irritated me
