I still have a few friends over there, and some of their offerings are worth a look imo. But, I spend the majority of my time here, for the reasons I like most of the people here and the honesty with which this place is managed.

I ain't lookin' for perfection, but at least tell me what is your guess and what is real that you bring.

It's an oft told tale. Company offers an excellent good/service/content for a reasonable price. Consuming public recognizes such and flocks in to take advantage of the offering. Company grows very rapidly and outstrips it's ability to maintain control of quality of offering. Inevitable drop off in customer satisfaction occurs, and some of buying base seeks other companies from which to purchase.

I see this every day in the business community, and even in my client base. No matter how much we coach them, some small companies just see the almighty dollar and grab that cash without ramping up service fast enough to field the extra business! Ultimately to their longer-term detriment.

If I see that start to happen here......well........I'm gonna get tore in but good boyo! Don't see that on the horizon though - yet.

I left WC years ago, not surprised so many so tired of their (namely his) BS. Got banned on the political board for making political posts that weren't toe-the-line-PC type. Never could understand how they maintained such a large sub base w/ the way they treated people as nearly all of their mods, esp. the deceased one, were over the top a-holes.

If only more people could shed the cloak of false loyalty to that site, and come over here where things are beyond grand.......

That was a bunch of words that said nothing. I love the fact that at the end he says that he gets rid of people every year even though they didn't break the rules. Smart business decision. You are going to have people who think warchant is the best out there, no matter what. If people would take out the loyalty and just look at which is the better product; this site wins hands down.

2. Not entirely true Laura. I gave my 2 cents and a at Gene without invoking the ban hammer and so did some others I know that are very tired of his crap. He proceeded to delete that thread as it no longer exists because there was even a hint of dissatisfaction.

He should take that advice or his boards which are his only real feature of worth are going to be boring and useless very soon. Pretty funny that he even censored the suggestions and feedback thread by deleting it.
