I almost bought some Tocabaga the other day. Not a huge red fan so I very rarely buy it.
13 is a red ale
I was wearing my Arrogant Bastard cycling jersey at the gym today, don't even know why. A 83 year old women comes up to and tells me my shirt is funny.

I know 13 is a red ale, which I why I said I rarely buy it.
a Southern Tier Mohka or Jahva would be ideal right now
I just tried a (couple) Lagunitas Pale Ale... wow, very good... up there with Abita varieties for me. Would rec'
Lagunitas' stuff is very good across the board. As far as Pale Ales, Dale's is still my gold standard.
I am looking forward to trying Deviant Dale's IPA, I think they just released it in 16oz cans, forgot to check at the beer store today.
Water is just beer that hasn't reached its full potential.
Hopefully it will make its way down here soon. Hell, it might take forever. We're not getting Hopslam down here til' March 10th.

For those of you in and around Denver and looking to taste Pliny the Younger from Russian River, this weekend is your last chance it sounds like...
Falling Rock Tap House - 5pm on Saturday
Cheeky Monk Westminster - 7pm on Saturday
Hops & Pie - 3:30pm on Sunday
*You have to get there early and get a ticket for the beer FYI
Struggling to decide which one I am going to. As far as I have read, this is it for the year.
veritas sent me that, had one last night, I was a big fan. Have you had it before?
Yes. It only comes out once a year so I have to be patient.
Yeah, I had not had anything from Bell's until this past summer, but everywhere I went people told me I had to try the Hopslam when it comes out. Since they don't distribute out here I am glad I was able to get some.
Bell's is easily in my top 5 breweries.
Mine as well. Had the chance to talk with one of the brewers while I was pouring for them at the GABF. I learned a ton about brewing that night. Awesome guy. I'd like to get to Michigan and tour all the breweries there, they have a lot of solid beer in that state.
Definitely. I really want to get up there as well.
FSU should have done a home and home with someone up there IMO.
Heard from a distributor i was drinking with that 3 floyds sent down some beer for hunahpu release. Im hoping for some dark lord or dreadnaught ipa...
Had red bricks hoplanta, hoptimus prime, ccb minaret esb, and a very special founders bfast stout last night. Wish i could find more from founders. Everything they brew is world class these days.
3 Floyds did send something down. CCB put it on their Facebook page with pics and everything. It's a shame I'm going to be in Tampa just a few days after Hunahpu's. Oh well.
Thats really bad luck...and you dont get any steak either! What innocent animal did you kill in your past life?
At least Tampa has many other great food options other than Bern's. It is going to hurt not be able to go there, though, I won't lie.
Honestly my favorite places in tpa are Datz, Ella's, the refinery, and taco bus. Im from ks and my wife's cousin raises grade a black angus. I can get prolly the best steak you can have for no cost, so I refuse to pay 30+ for a good steak.
I bought a case of Dale's from Total Wine & Spirits for like $35.
Nice. Ill check it out whem im up next and see about it...a case of dales for $35? Thats crazy!
