This time around is already such a disaster, the Ruskis not only have egg on their faces, but up their butts too. Brown water coming out of the pipes. Their genpop having to give up their pillows to the athletes so they will have enough for the dorms, NOBODY from outside their country coming to attend - except the athletes and their parents and/or posses. THIS IS GONNA BE GREAT!
Last night, Bob Costas and pals, were sitting around their coffee table chatting about stuff, when Bob sez we were expecting to be able to show you the ????????? events, but right now, there seems to be technical difficulty with the video. Yeah Right. EVERY electronic device is being hacked immediately upon coming out of the box by purportedly the Russian Mob.
Anyhow, last night, we watched the brand new "Team Ice Skating." Everybody but Yevgeny Bullshiteo, fell in their ess to my delight and my wife's consternation. All the Nancy Boys got the Vapors and crashed their quadruple spinning ess chops. It was great!
Then we had some downhill snowboard trials, riding rails and over cool jumps and various obstacles. Plenty good smashes into the mountain side for me to gloat over, and tut-tuts from the wife.
There is a hue and cry, to kill all the stray dogs that inhabit the environs in the Olympic Village area. Some Billionaire sez no, don't, so now - we have a Mexican stand-off over the feral pooches. I love it!
I'll report back with further developments. Meanwhile, some of the rest of you can chime in with your own observations.
Well, that didn't take long. We have some pictures of the wonderful accommodations being provided for our press corps. To whit:
1. Don't drink the water or use it on your face as it has and I quote "something dangerous " in it.
2. You room is almost totally ready sir. The constructions dudes will be returning from their Wodka Break soon.
3. The lobby is almost finished being decorated. For registration, go to the Manager's Bedroom. This was a true tweet from a reporter.
This will be the best Winter Olympics EVER!
Kinda like watching nascar. Just waiting to see the wrecks.
They shelled a ton of dough to get the games there. Then shelled out a ton more to build everything. It still sux, and looks like they will not get much revenue from tourism either. Way to go Putin
Lol now Bob Costas wakes up with his swollen shut, and red. Article says the infection will last through the week.

Well that's one way to control the message getting out to the whole wide whorl; poison anybody who ain't Ruski! Works every time.
Bob prolly tried to brush his toofs with some of that brown water. 'N swallered some down. He'll be subjected to the hot green sheets right soon! Poor Bob. He's so tiny this will be devastating for him!
The opening ceremony was strange, sometimes wonderful, but IMO reflected the vast heritage of a volatile people. The ballet sequence was spectacular, but some of the rest was very weird. Ey like to suspend stuff from wires, and did a good job with that, and they can march real well. Those giant orange wheels were crazy, standing in as cogs and machinery. All in all not too bad. The Chinese did it better, the Greeks did too. Looks like we won an unexpected GOLD in the snowboard downhill.
I hear the reporters tweeting about the abysmal hotel accommodations are being sat on. The Ruskis are mad, and not wanting anyone to know what a shitty job they did on this. From what I gather, the pervasive corruption and graft is rampant, and inferior materials and work are the standard of the day. Organized crime controls most of what gets passed off as state sponsored work. This is better than cartoons!
Thought the projectors they had on the floor was awesome. Outside of that was weird.
The reporters don't have to tweet, just take one look at Bob and his giant red eye! Guess we just need to build our immune systems to deal with russian filth.
The projectors were good. The whole thing was decently staged. Now that they're into events, I will have some nice naps watching Swedes and Norwogians skiing for a thousand miles cross country. The snowboarders are cool, and I like the ski-yumpers, more chance of a cataclysmic crash! Ice-Dancing.... well, not so much. Wife goes into hysterics every time one of them flexes their butt cheeks.
Anybody been able to watch some women's curling?
Curling is best sport to watch.
3-2-1 TOUCHDOWN FSU
Are there even 20 people watching this? Beyond lame. What should be of note is that Sochi now will be America soon. Sochi is the end result of crony capitalism and political corruption sewn by a career ruling class. Sooooo, laugh now while you can.

Yeah, watching a good bit of it. Some is diverting and some is totally boring. This is not a festival where Americans typically excel, so I have to root for my fellow Italians who suck even more. The Norwehogs and DutchChocoHolics are good at this stuff and the Ruskis are the best cheaters, so I mostly pull for everybody to crash for the camera. The chicks have way too many layers on to tell much, so no joy there.
Politically? We're almost there, as the Feds know everything there is worth knowing about one, and don't care if you know it. If you get too frisky a out it, they'll send in the lads to redirect your attitude!
Would someone be kind to update me on how the US Hockey teams are doing?

Our women are really doing well, I don't know if the men have started yet.
Speed skating tonight. Moguls too. Humps 'n Bumps 'n Lumps shakin yer carcass bad enough to knock yer teeth loose. You can win a medal for killing yer spine and shoving yer knees up into yer schnozzola. You can accept it from a gurney.

I don't think they have and our women beat their 2 opponents 12-1 including a 9-0 win
Men start Thursday with Slovakia...the Russia...then some other vakia type country.
USA, Sweden, Canada and Russia are the favorites for medals.
For the women, they play our brain damaged step siblings from the North tomorrow at 7am est, unlikely another country outside these two win gold on the womens side.
