I hope you are relaxing and enjoying time with your family and/ or friends. If you get a moment, drop a line about where your Holiday has taken you this season.
Me, i'm in South Dakota with the In-Laws and am joyfully taking it easy with family and kids. It's a great time of year!! Thanks for your friendship 247ers! God Bless.
I'm taking it down the street to my family's house in Tally. We are trying something new this year with food. We usually eat salads, homemade rolls and ham but this year we are cooking steak.
3-2-1 TOUCHDOWN FSU
I am at home in the ATL. It's 5:50am and I just realized there were 3 gifts that I never wrapped. Luckily I beat the kids to the punch and got them wrapped and under the tree before they woke up. For the first time ever I am awake before them on Christmas!
The very same to you Dakota. Thank you for your friendship and support for my stories this past year. I sincerely hope you and your loved ones receive many blessings and good fortune in the coming year.
I have a large segment of my extended family here in my home with me this year. It is truly a heart-warming feeling to have 5 generations of my tribe all in the same space, and all getting along with caring and humor. I'm getting so much FSU Seminole stuff, I'll need a wheelbarrow just to haul it all the the man cave.
Later, we are going to try and SKYPE our Italian family in Naples. Since none of us speak Italian except me (mostly naughty words), and only one of them speaks any American English (prolly the same), this should be quite a strange and wonderful time.
My best to ALL of you. Many have shown support for my crazy posts and tales. For that, and for the fact that we're all fellow Seminoles, very best wishes.
Had a dinner party last night -
Ricotta dip with crackers and fruit preserves
Italian meatball sliders with sharp cheddar cheese (cooked med-rare, in a sous-vide, then torched to brown)
Filet Mignon lo mein with sugar snap peas
Juniors Cheesecake: http://www.juniorscheesecake.com/
taking it easy today. The wife is cooking breakfast: http://katcooksbakeseats.blogspot.com/2010/12/gq-has-recipes.html
We'll probably relax a bit, and maybe catch a movie later.
No family (we all got together for Thanksgiving), so likely no drama as well.
Definately trying the German Pancake! Thanks Jay!
It's great, the wife makes it for holidays and my birthday.
I used up my upvotes is this thread, one last gift for you all.
Have a wonderful day, all.
Upvotes for all.
