Folks, this is simple. Play nice. That doesn't mean we can't disagree, we just do it in a mature manner. Mkay? Guidelines, if you need them spelled out:
1. No offensive language or images (swear words/cuss words, sexist, racist, religious) - including variations of offensive language with different spellings or letters omitted, etc. If you don't know Laura's pet peeves, it isn't hard to figure them out. Do not use them
2. Personal attacks, whether on posters or public figures (including coaches/players/recruits) are not acceptable.
3. No posting of copyrighted/subscription material.
4. No pornographic or obscene photos in avatars, posts, or signature files. This includes links.
5. If you want to know why something was edited or deleted, send a private message to the moderators. Do not start a new thread asking why.
6. For now, we will allow all topics to be discussed, including religion and politics. Discussion should be kept civil and respectful or topics may have to be taken off the table.
Please note the following qualifications to earn an OTR badge:
1. Minimum of 1000 posts and 6 months membership to the site (post count is sitewide).
2. Active, substantive participation on OTR (start threads and respond to other threads).
3. Consensus approval from the officially unofficial badge committee. As of March 2013, the committee is TheDoak, Nashnole, BrickTamland, FSULaura, and nolesfan73.
If you want the badge and think you meet the qualifications, PM one of the moderators and we will refer your nomination to the committee.
