Who you got winning it all? And who is your team? I think the Philadelphia and Pittsburgh winner will represent the east. The west will be Vancouver or potentially san Jose or phx who have caught fire at the end of the year. All I hope is that the Panthers can get a few wins and make the 2nd round.

I'm really hoping the Flyers can get out of that series and that the Sens upset the Rangers. If those happen, I see us (Flyers) making the Finals. Out of the west, I have to like Detroit, because, let's be honest it's the Red Wings in the playoffs. I could also see Phoenix thoguh

My Predators will open at home with the Red Wings on Wed. We may make it through to the 2nd. round, but I rather doubt it. We like to play it too close for my comfort.
I say the Canucks or Penguins to hoist the Stanley Cup this year.

Red Wings fan, all the injuries at the end of the season threw us out of sync.
Good news - pretty much everyone is back (except Helm)
Bad News - they have only been back together a couple games and didn't have time to get back in sync.
If the Wings play like they did for most the season when everyone was healthy, they should at least make conference finals. If they play like they have been last few weeks, losing to Nashville is a real possibility.
If I had to give a prediction Id say Wings lose 2nd round. Id say Canucks and Rangers finals

Very real possibility... But in the long run we are a year ahead of schedule. I think we win the series but honestly its going to be a 50/50 series I think.
I think Detroit won't do so well bc the end of the year, but since they are healthy I won't count them out

What a great first day! Saw a 3 goal comback/ overtime win, a good one in nash, and an 8 seed dominating the best team. It should only get better. Go Hawks and Panthers!

The Red Wings - Predators game was one of the worst officiated games in NHL playoff history. There was no flow, the refs could not go more than 10 seconds without calling a penalty, and most were nothing calls. These 2 teams were least penalized teams in regular season, and then all of sudden 17 penalties were committed in the game. Awful
By the way, if Shea Weber doesn't get suspended, it would be a joke

And Im not trying to sound biased, the calls were going both ways, they were just calling everything. It allowed for no flow to the game. It was awful
And I am about ready to go into full on rant mode about Shea Weber now that some writers have hinted that he wont get suspended.

What a joke....a lost a lot of respect for Shanahan....I see that tiny fine really taught Weber a lesson. He gets away scot free with a penalty (at the 20:00 mark so doesnt even go to the penalty box) and gets fined some chump change. Yea we are really looking out for player safety and avoiding concussions, but guys can punch people and smash their head into the boards and nothing happens.....Bullcrap.
Glad to see Weber taking this seriously
