  • Celt fan here. Actually happy Ray Allen left. Very excited to see the Jet and Fab in Celt green. I think the Dwight Howard saga is getting old.

    Def sick of Dwight. The Celts definitely improved. New Jersey as well even without Dwight, their a playoff team for sure. Lot of people dislike the NBA but right now it's my favorite pro league. Lots of exciting stuff going on, and some really awesome players.

  • It would be fitting to see Dwight in LA with Kobe and Metta. I would bet Oklahoma returns to the Championship next year. Chicago will be tough too. Its an exciting time to be an NBA follower.

    I'd much rather see him in NJ than L.A. would make for some interesting story lines if he were in L.A. Tough to argue with anyone other than the Thunder going back, though you can never count out the Spurs.

  • Well, I'm a Heat fan (I hope that doesn't alter any of your perceptions of me biggrin), so I'm rather happy with our moves so far.

    The one situation that is really sticking out to me is Dallas. Man, I feel bad for Dirk and their fans. They were promised so much entering the free agency period and now does it not only look like they're striking out, but they're actually regressing as a team. On the bright side, it should give Bernard an opportunity to step up, but this sure looks like it's going to be a rough year to be a Mavs fan.

    I'm a Heat fan as well. Just didn't want to start an eff Lebron thread. Yeah it's kind of surprising that the Mavs have been so snakebitten this offseason. Everything you hear from the Mavs players is how awesome it is to play for Cuban. I was surprised they let Chandler go last last year. I understand letting Kidd and Terry go. They're just going to have to build from the ground up. Trade Dirk, get some picks maybe, a few players but I don't think they'll be good again for quite awhile.

  • I am a Magic Fan but my favorite team is the Lakers by far. So as far as D12 goes if he goes to LA then I will remain his fan, otherwise he can rot. If I were the Magic I would trade his ass to the Toronto Raptors and let him pay some of those Canadian taxes. Or and I love this idea. KEYSHAWN his ass. Keep him on the roster. When he is healthy make him dress and never play him.

  • Nets fan right here. Really happy with our offseason moves so far, even without Dwight. Re-signed the best FA on the market (Deron Williams), brought in a 6-time all-star at SG (Joe Johnson), and we seem to be filling out the bench quite nicely. Hopefully that massive contract we gave Brook Lopez will motivate him to learn to rebound banghead In all seriousness though, I do like Lopez as a player. He's yet to have a season where he's fully healthy...two years ago, he had mono for most of the season, and last season he only played 5 games (dropped 38 on the Mavs biggrin)

    At least I'll know who's a bandwagoner down here though - I'm going to be a senior at FSU and I've never seen anyone else wear anything Nets related. Swag.

    To be fair, your front office has been making it really difficult for anyone to trade for him - whether that be trying to get market value for him or trying to convince him to stay, it feels like the Magic have dragged this business out for too long.

    Yeah I'm not sure why they didn't take the deal the Nets were offering. All those draft picks, plus Lopez and Humphries, not to mention they'd still have their own lottery picks. Poor decision if you ask me.

    They're going to suck without him, regardless of where he's traded too. In the NBA you take the best deal that's being offered.
