    You're not alone. but all the women in my family are all atwitter about the male actors. I'll try to avoid it, but prolly won't be able to. To add insult to injury, they're making a TV series of it.

  • Idris Elba (from The Wire) is in it but the movie just looks weird as shit to me. I might see it once it comes out on DVD.

    It's definitely a renter. My girlfriend loves the blonde guy from Inglorious Basterds/Haywire(Michael Fassbender).

    No movie is gonna be any good after seeing the Avengers, tho

  • Sorry willy but I think The dark knight rises is gonna be better than the avengers but im more of a batman fan than the avengers though

    I don't think there's any question about that (nor should there be). Definitely looking forward to that coming out.

  • I heard Avengers sucked but I haven't seen it. I'm disappointed by the choice of villain. You have all those people put together and the only villain is Loki? That's a weak sell to me without even having viewed it yet.

    As for Prometheus, I'm a sci fi fanatic so I will be on it but only on video as I refuse to give theaters the ridiculous prices they are charging now to sit with a bunch of loud, obnoxious strangers.

    Whoever told you it sucked was being ridiculous. It's gotten great reviews (especially considering the genre) and everybody that I know that has seen loved it.

    People like Ridley Scott, Steven Spielberg, and Jerry Bruckheimer can take a dump and produce gold out of it at this point in their lives.

    I'm not saying Prometheus is good or bad but they have enough media clout to get pieces like this out there for bigtime first wknd ticket sales regardless of its actual merit.

    I was surprised to learn that this actually had a video, since I was too young to remember watching music channels, and it was impossible to find on YouTube. This is the song that got me into her back then. She's such a talented musician and lyricist. I love her. Commenting disabled for this video, because people can't shut the fuck up about that stupid Glee show. I hate it, and don't want to have it shoved in my face every 5 minutes. When I uploaded this video, Glee did not exist.

    The Pixar movie "Brave" looks great. My fiancé can't wait to see it and I'm pretending like she going to have to drag me to the theaters.

  • I have been looking forward to Prometheus since I first learned that Ridley Scott was making another sci-fi movie. At the time it was supposed to be a prequel to Alien, which is one of my favorite movies, but even as it evolved to what it is today I still was looking forward to seeing it. I just have no interest in fighting the crowds so will probably go see it sometime this week during the day.

    I took my daughter to see Snow White and the Huntsman last weekend and got my first real look at the trailer. I almost choked on my drink when I saw that Tom Cruise is playing the lead. It looks completely pathetic to me.
