rivals stupid star ratings

on their site....jonathan bullard is the #3 strong side de and is a 5 star....dante fowler jr is the #2 weakside de and is 4 star....that texas instrument calculator must've rejected the formula lol....doesn't make since

Right now, my feeling is ESPN actually has the most accurate rankings, has been that way since Newberg left Rivals to go there. Recruiting news is a lot better here, but for rankings, for the most part, I like ESPN.

I personally think rivals sucks but your reasoning is deeply flawed. What if there are 3 sure fire 5 star SDEs and no good WDEs? Do you make the #1 WDE (who is a borderline top 50 player) a 5 star and a top 25 stud a 4 star because of positional equality. Thats just awful logic. I like Fowler better than Bullard but your reason is wrong and the kind of thinking I have actually come to expect from rivals

You cant honestly say you like Fowler more than Bullard. Bullard has AT LEAST 30 pounds on Fowler an his ready to play on the d-line right now. Fowler has the body of a LB right now, no way he even sees the field next yr along your d-line. Not only cause of depth but hes not physically ready to play in the trenches... Do we want Fowler at UF?? Absolutly im not gunna lie, we want him at OLB/DE at our "Buck" pos...I think he sticks with his FSU pledge in the end though....

People tend to hate the rankings that have FSU llower, but love the rankings where FSU is ranked the highest.
Funny how that works.
Alot of FSU fans hated Mark May until he laughed at Lou Holtz.
People just like whoever jiggles their nibblets the hardest.
As the gator stated Bullard is ready to play while Fowler probably resshirts.
By definition a five star (like A. Peat) is a player who can start from day 1.

I haven't been impressed with the rankings on this site, and Rivals gets worse and worse every year. ESPN rankings are the most accurate IMO, but they aren't able to give you the detailed day to day team stuff that 247 and Rivals does, and right now, 247 seems to be better than Rivals to me.

Fowler and Bullard will play different positions imo. Fowler was ranked as the #1 WDE in some services and Casher in others. It seems Spence has moved into the top atm in some too. I cannot find any site that has Bullard as the #1 SDE

If I were recruiting for 2012 only I take Bullard. Luckily, we have Jenkins and the best de in the nation in Werner coming back along with tank carradine who reminds me of aldon smith. There isn't one player in the last 5 classes other than maybe clowney who is a top 3 de at fsu next year. Fowler is a Jenkins clone and yes I like him better than Bullard. We are stock piled with de's and Casher and Fowler will be Jenkins replacement.
Bottom line, Bullard and leanoard Williams are good players but fsu wouldn't take either this year
