  • For manti teo? How far does it plummet? Just did an off camera interview with a lawyer next to him, so it would be a "comfortable"setting haha.

  • I don't think it falls at all. If they think he can play , they will draft him high imo

    Brooklyn

  • He just lied some more, to cover up all the lies he got caught in.
They did it off-camera, and he had a PR person sitting next to him. I don't understand why he continues to play dumb, when everyone knows better.

He and his family, along with ND, are absolutely deplorable. This whole thing makes me sick.

    **** this guy.

It depends on whether a team sees off-the-field issues as transferrable to on-the-field. One would have to question his instincts, gullibility, ability to identify a fake or feign move, intuition, determining whether the QB is real or not, and whether duping him is really that easy.

I think if I were the person evaluating his mental state of being, I'd start out having two extra chairs, one on each side of me. One chair would be empty while there'd be a woman in the other. Question: Which of the two women sitting next to me looks the healthiest?

I do know that if I were a woman I would not want to be Manti's next (or first) real girlfriend ... except for the fact that you could assume that getting him to give you his signing bonus would probably not be very difficult.

  • No effect whatsoever if he is truly a victim.

  • This is a red flag for sure but I dont think it makes a significant difference. However, I feel his lack of agility and athleticism will have him fall into the 25-75 range in the draft.

He just doesnt have the athleticism that Kuechly has which is necessary to get drafted high and be highly successful and a gamechanger as an ILB in todays NFL

  • Top of the second round in stead of the 15-18 range he was before.

    fsufsu

  • I think he drops out of the Top 10.

    gonoles1

  • I think he was completely a victim and lied about knowing her. Everyone would think it was weird he had a gf he never personally met and just knew online. I def feel for the guy bc I feel he was completely clueless and is the victim

  • Dont think it will have a large impact but I doubt he would have went as high as originally thought either. IMO, Minter and Ogletree go off the board before he does. I think he'll go somewhere in the 20-40 range

    Lincoln Hawk

  • Remember, every GM in the league talked himself out of drafting Burfict and he was a top 10 defensive rookie in the league.

FSU Football. Making cool the new swag since 2013.

  • He says the people visiting effected his performance.

How are so certain? Why does it upset you so much?

I could give two flips about his personal life.

    fsukum

  • Hoax aside, questionable character aside, his stock will plummet dramatically when GMs realize that he's a just an average LB, another product of ND mythmaking. He was exposed against Bama. Not sure anyone was paying attention, though, the game was so unbearable to watch.

That could be true but he still lied and exaggerated a great deal to get more publicity, even if you believe everything he's saying to be true. I don't feel for him at all. It's what all media whores deserve imo.

  • It doesn't make sense because apparently he met her at Stanford in 2009 and she travelled to Hawaii with him several times. His father, Brian, claims to have met her. The entire relationship was NOT online. I don't get this part of the story.

Plus, he was informed that her "death" was a hoax on Dec. 6th, yet on Dec. 8th and on Dec. 10th (and several times thereafter) he spoke about the pain that he had to endure losing the "love of his life."

Also, according to a Washington Post columnist (I forget her name) who is ND alum, he had several girlfriends on campus while he was in the midst of this very important "relationship" of his, the "love of his life."
