I thought one of the main factors working against USC was that they had a limited number of scholarships...the newly opened spots could end up helping them with LM3

USCw is a super power and all it will take is a better staff and sanctions to end for them to clean up in recruiting again, USC sucks right now and I feel they need to distance themselves from Lane and the type of kids he recruits anyways

USC is capable of falling into oblivion. They need to get rid of Lane ASAP and need to make the right hire after or they could be in trouble UCLA is emerging, Washington is on the rise Stanford is a legitimate program.

He jumps on that ship only if he's a fool. He doesn't sound like a fool at all.

They would have fit him in. They've lost 5 commitments in the last few weeks....

I agree with that assessment pretty much, but IMO Lane should have been fired this season. after another 8-4 season next year (maybe worse) if they make a bad hire they will fall a bunch. SC they had a stretch from 1989-2001 where they didn't win 10 games in a season even premiere programs can have horrible stretches and if you really want to get technical outside of 1988 you'd have to go back to 1979 to see there next 10 win season. all of those seasons were 12 game seasons.

I agree those schools can and will keep it interesting, but nothing touches the recruiting advantage USC will always have

USC is the best recruiting power there is

All they need is a good staff and most would jump at the chance to coach there

If they were smart they would throw the checkbook at Chris Peterson, he would be scary at USC

In fact, if he loves music so much and if he wants to get into the hip hop game and produce records then he's wasting his time going to college.

He has a few times and its certainly more likely to be his career for much longer
