I agree OL recruiting has been a problem, but the blame shouldn't lay with Trickett alone. The overall recruiting philosophy is crafted by the head coach.

Agree. A pretty much consensus #1 OL class in the country, followed by picking up a few key pieces last year, and what looks to be a fantastic group by the end of this recruiting cycle.

One thing I wouldn't take from our game as a negative was how the OL looked. Were they perfect? Far far from it. Were they as bad as last year's spring game? Far far from it.
Our DL makes most OLs look bad though.
Trickett needs to SOGOTP though this season.

When you sign 8 linemen in one class, you've got a great shot of having a highly-rated OL signing class. What you need to ask yourself is why Florida State was ever in a position to have to take 8 linemen in a single cycle in the first place.
