It wouldn't be a "try" since he does the play calling in practice and already knows the plays and the system inside and out. All it would be doing is having the same person who's making the game plan call the plays for that plan.

Which is trying something new. We are already going to have a new defensive coordinator, no need for more instability if you don't have to have it. I'm not in love with Jimbo's playcalling, but something needs to be consistent for this game. It's not a scrimmage or warm up game, it's a BCS game, that goes a long way in the perception of FSU going forward. I'm all for Coley taking over the reigns, NEXT season. Fans just seem to take these things so lightly, it's ridiculous. Last night should have taught all fans, no matter how much more talented we are, no FBS team should be looked at as a pushover. Things happened last night to keep GT in that game, but those same things could happen against NIU, turnovers are a killer.
