Awesome -- fellow Indian Village Alum. Lived there my Senior year 2005-06 and partied there throughout my 5 years. Second building on the right.

Very nice, I know where that is...I was to the left and around the bend. Backdoor opened up to the pool.

  • Graduated last year ('10) in Management

Lived in Deviney two years and then at Players Club apartments, next to the Publix on Ocala

Born and raised in Michigan, was a Michigan fan growing up and lived in a family with mostly MSU fans. Grew up hating Michigan State and about my Sophomore year of HS realized I didn't want to stay in Michigan for college, wanted a break from the winters. Looked around at some schools and thought about FSU as a school I really liked. Went down for a visit my senior year of HS and on the visit I went to the FSU - Duke basketball game in '06, FSU won and the students rushed the court and I remember my dad calling my mom that night (she wasnt on the visit) and told her there was no way that I wasnt going to FSU after that....he was right. Diehard Nole now, still kind of like Michigan (now that I am living in Michigan again, but nowhere near as much as FSU)

  • Lifelong fan. Extended family is from the panhandle but I grew up in Ga. I was a weekend student if that counts......Now we live in KC and feel like the only fans out here. I took my kids to their first FSU game down in Norman. Similar experience I had as a kid in 86. Good time though.

So you lived there in the good 'ol days..thats awesome. after about 2004, that place hasn't been the same. Maybe it'll be like it used to be if FSU really is "back". 2000 and 2001 was a wild time in Indian Village on gameday's.

My family actually owned our unit till '07 when my younger brother graduated. Sold it to a family friend, so its pretty cool that I can still go back. Definitely not the same though.

  • I grew up near Buffalo, NY a huge fan of FSU and graduated from a community college in my hometown. I proceeded to apply at FSU and got turned down. Still a lifelong fan and a true diehard always repping florida state wherever I go.

  • Here's my deal:

My father was a scholarship tennis player at FSU, so i was born and raised a Nole. I still have my FSU PJ's from when i was like 6. I went to FSU for undergraduate and i got my BA in Psych (Useless) and i am currently taking post-bach classes at USF to go to grad school. I'm also a booster (only an iron spear but i boost what i can).

Yeah, it was a good time. A real dump though. I felt like a squatter because it was such a dump. Moved to Renegade my Sr. Year.

I hear that the cops started cracking down out there and that's why the gameday party scene fell off. At one point i heard a rumor that you either had to live there or be on a list or else cops would not let you in (not sure if that is true).

I walked through there on the way to the game for the UF game this past year and it was a ghost town compared to what it used to be.

  • Started watching FSU football in '93 with Ward. The #1 vs. #2 FSU/ND game is still the best football game I've ever watched hands down and that was the moment that really sealed the deal for me despite their loss...been a diehard fan ever since. Grew up in Buffalo, NY, have absolutely no connections to FSU other than my passion for watching them play. Honestly, only ever been to FL 3x in my life and never to a Noles game in the state unfortunately. I've been going to and paying for school for a long time but will graduate from Case Western med school in a month...looking forward to supporting the Noles at some point when I'm making good $ and of course making all the games. I've been on the other site for over 9 years now and I have to say I really like 247...don't post much because of my profession, but enjoy reading these boards.

  • Born and raised in Tallahassee (seems I'm the only one...) so I've been a Nole since my 1st breath. My first game was when I was 3 weeks old and I've been going to games every season since.

Graduated with BS in Sport Management in 06

Season ticket holder, booster, alumni member since 06 as well (when I could actually afford it)

Moved to Atlanta to work for the Braves after graduation and found I spent too much time traveling back to Tallahassee (Every football weekend, every holiday, 80% of basketball games, 60% of baseball games, other random weekends) so I decided I should just move on back to where my heart is.

Will be going back for my Masters and then hopefully my Ph.D. in the future.

Live, Breathe, Bleed Seminole sports, nothing else compares

Also, I tend to lurk, don't post much, but I appreciate all your info/insight.

  • My grandparents lived in Tallahassee since I was a wee lad so trips up here from Clearwater were extremely common. My folks turned into Seminoles fans in a hurry which accelerated matters.

Attended Florida State in 2006 graduating in 2010 with a BS in Business Management.

Moved to Tampa for six months to run the USF Rivals site before taking this opportunity.

Let's see if we can do this without trying to prove we are better than each other, okay? Everyone here is a Nole, and that's what counts indian

Are you a - student? graduate? parent or child of a graduate? booster? alumni association member? season ticket holder? lifelong fan? -------------------------------------------------------------

I have a B.A. and J.D. from FSU, am a booster and season ticket holder, active in the Sarasota Seminole Club, and have been a fan since I was born, as both of my parents are alums.

I have my degrees from FSU. Got my J.D. in '97. When did you finish?

I now live in Raleigh, NC heart of ACC country which is awesome opportunity to see the Noles on the road.

I grew up in Miami and followed the Hurricanes as a young kid. It really bothered me how the fans down there are fair weather and jump on and off the bandwagon with 1 big win/loss. The fact that their stadium is filled with punks whom never set foot on campus also is bothersome.

There is nothing like being a Seminole!
