This one is nice, or maybe:
"Thank you for the countless hours of hard work both on the recruiting trail and in the office."
Might need a 24" x 30" poster for that though, with at least 3" letters and block font with no crazy background colors for readability.

I don't care enough about him leaving to pitch a fit. Appreciate his service while he was here. Ahole move to go to a rival just before NSD. He was a great recruiter but only decent at landing us SFL guys. We hired great recruiters to replace him.
It all comes out in the wash.

Many of you guys are much nicer than me. It's not that he left, it's how and when he did it. He very easily could have finished out the cycle and almost no hard feeling would have been felt.

Could it be that he was driven from our program by an egregious incident? One can only push someone so far.
