What is the difference between 2012 ND & FSU?

Look, EJ really struggled at the end of the year. I certainly wouldn't argue that. But the ND QB's struggled at times as well.

and they were benched and another qb was given a chance to play.

Shows the antithesis of Jimbo at NC st. (No courage) vs kelly-big brass ones.

Overall, our QB play was better. We threw for far more yards per game. Our efficiency was markedly better. Our TD/INT ratio was better. Their QB ran for 20 more yards than ours.

I'd love for someone to explain to me how their coaching was better.

The main difference I see is that we lost 16 fumbles, and they only lost 7. They intercepted 6 more passes than us. They were better in the turnover battle. And they got two incredibly fortunate calls.

and our schedule was 1/2 as difficult as their schedule... That is why the qb stats look better b/c ej stunk it up when it mattered most except Clemson when anyone with a pulse could get 250 yds

I know, you are about to talk discuss the great victory against 6-6 vt. You will say it is like pitt. And our game like ou is...? exactly.

  • ND got some breaks? lol They always get the breaks. I swear every time I watch a game of their's it feels like the ref always gives ND an extra yard when they spot the ball. They're like the Duke in basketball. For some reason refs love giving these kids the benefit of the doubt.

    Agree with all of this.

Even the part about a FR QB who we've never seen throw a football is the best QB we have on roster? huh

  • Only difference is that Brian Kelley improved as a coach and learned NOT to stop blitzing in the 2nd half of games this year, when it was successful in the first half.

If he continued blitzing us in the 2nd half, they beat us by 25+ points....easily.

From what I gathered about why they stopped blitzing in the second half, it is my understanding that his defense was exhausted from the constant blitzing.

Don't know if that's true, but that's according to ND "insiders."
