What FSU players leave early?

I agree that Tank had a better season for us and he has definitely deserved, and received, much respect. But we all know the pros are about projections and most think Werner projects as a better player.

The pros also thought Ernie Sims projected better than Timmons despite my strong disagreement

    I won

We weren't talking about Tank. He is a great player is his own right, but because he is a great player doesn't mean that Werner is any less of one. If you think like that than you could easily make the arguement that Chance Warmck isn't that "good" because he plays next to Barrett Jones. I think it's funny that you keep speaking in what if's. Well what if Werner beefs up to 280 and runs a 4.6 forty? I bet he is a lock for a top five pick then right?

If he beefs up that much he will miss next season for failing a steroids test

  • This is not fiction. I find it within the realm of possibility that Werner could bulk up to between 270 and 275. He also could just as easily run a 4.6 forty at the combine. These stud prospects know what is going to get them drafted high and to get them paid. They pay trainers very well to ensure that they improve whatever they need to, in order to improve their draft stock. Whether that be their 40 time or their weight. With the drive and determination shown on the field by Werner, I think it would be ridiculous to question his ability to do just that. He has the intangibles and the leadership that you can't teach. The guy is just a stud.

He is a stud half the time in the weakest conference in the BCS

The NFL is a totally different animal

But clearly this fan base doesn't need much to be convinced by a player and his greatness so im not shocked

I haven't seen enough, and if i ran an NFL im taking a few DE's before him without a second thought

  • Werner definitely goes.
    Rhodes probably goes.

Jones has the talent to play in the league right now, but imo needs a whole lot more seasoning.
Joyner would be a fool to go. Had a subpar JR season.
    Watson is too raw.

He might not even be 255

I have never seen him step on a scale, trusting a player is what he is listed at in college is a mistake

And i said it could plummet, we don't know yet

Never said it would for sure, but acting like it can't is just stupid

I can name many ACC DE's who sucked once in the NFL, lots of em... And nearly all of FSU's have

Every FSU player that has gone to the NFL since 2010 has been right at or over their listed weight by FSU at the NFL combine. I have done the research many times. The weights that FSU has reported under Fish have been spot on. Werner played at 270 last year, by the way.
