This series is going to be really tough...Stanford has a loaded pitching staff and an offense that is comparable to FSUs.

Stanford's pitching staff is their weakness. They aren't deep at all. Mooneyham has really underachieved for where he will be drafted and for where he pitches (Saturday). They too are missing a reliable 3rd starter.
They have a few power hitters, but thankfully they are all from the right side.

They have had 3 pitchers drafted so far and we haven't reached the 5th round. I think we, myself included, are probably short-changing them a little. They are also an excellent hitting club.

Their talent is undeniable. I actually picked them to win the title in 2012 at the end of last year. It terms of production, Mooneyham as underperformed and their 3rd starter (Piscotty) was drafted as a position player. He has only started 4 games this year and he is not a SO pitcher.

The same can be said about UF, but I believe that once the post-season rolled around here, a new season is upon us and all these teams are almost starting over fresh. Talented guys tend to show out no matter what they did all year. That is just my belief though.

I thought Florida played to their ability all season, they just did so against the #1 SOS in the nation and with injuries to their #1 and #2 starting pitchers.

Piscotty- 6.1 innings, 4 ERs (5.7 ERA)
