At the very beginning of this recruiting cycle, this was the recruit that just seemed like the most logical to become a Nole, at least to me.

He was just the kind of DE we want, and the kind we were looking for, he is from right down the road, we have a huge need for DEs, he can get a lot of immediate playing time for a team that would be putting 3 DEs into the NFL this year, all of which will be early round draft picks, and maybe more than one 1st round draft pick.

For all these reasons, and more, him seem like he would be a shoe in to end up in G&G.

Then he committed to Bama, and it didn't even seem like we were going after him.

I am just glad it all worked out right in the end, and all's well that ends well.
