He just updated his twitter page saying he is committed to fsu. My old junior high coach is the dline coach at his high school. Supposedly this was to be kept on the low until tommorrow.

Can't disagree with the first sentence. At least offensively speaking.
But my goodness, as fans of major college football programs I think it would be ridiculous for either of us to go around saying that our program's are pillars of ethics.

Hey maybe it is on the kid - Pruitt might not have said any thing but if the kid is that close with him he might have chosen to follow him.
Also our DE depth is THIN so it has to be appealing.

I don't think many here would argue that first point. Hell, FSU should've been playing against Bama tonight. We're working on it.
But you don't really have the legs to stand on when it comes to ethics, not when your coach said "he would not coach Alabama" and then TWO weeks later is, as if by magic, COACHING ALABAMA.
So crack the bubbly and congrats on your title. It's well earned and I've always respected Bama as a program. But you coming over here is pretty lame and unwarranted. So get lost.

Huge. Another player that can play DE in a 3-4 or a 4-3. Love the schematic flexibility we will have with all of these talented guys up front

Why is this Bama fan even on here right now? Your team just won the National Championship. If FSU won the NC the last place I would be is on a messge board bitching about a recruit.

I don't think so in this case. Walker has a great relationship with Pruitt, almost like a father figure to him. He didn't have much of a relationship with any of the other coaches, then you factor in the distance and it makes a lot of sense if you think about it. I would have a problem with a coach trying to steal committed recruits from their former school, but I really think this was Walker reaching out.

Either way I think I speak for everybody else on the board, we appreciate the work you put in this week trying to find out something on the situation. IMO that goes out to the whole 24/7 staff on everything you do for the site.

FSU is 2.5 hours from my house and AL is 8.5. I want my mom who I haven't been with for a long time to see me play. This was the only way.
