And yes, Alex Collins was a big name recruit we lead for before Gran left. Davin Bellamy, Austin Golson, and Marquez White (all 4-star commits) are all visiting Auburn thanks to coach Craig. So yeah, we were hurt a little.

No but it did likely cost us a future commit, Collins when Gran left. Interesting to note that everyone that left FSU got a promotion, not sure if Seahawks DC is a promotion from UF DC.

A lot of them started looking around, yes. Whether the flip or not will be witnessed on NSD.

It hurt with uncommitted prospects (Collins) more than anything else. Thats were I see it as a potential for UF. Kids like Jalen built a relationship with someone that is being replaced. Since its in house, it may not be much of a big deal though.

There may be some small hit for UF in recruiting, and no one should ever want to lose a good coach, but I doubt this is all that big of a deal, especially with Muschamp being a defensive guy. If UF struggles at all on defense next year it will likely be because of the players they lost and the players doing the replacing far more than any assistant coaches they lost.

exactly 32 teams in the league compared to idk even know how many college football teams there are
plus look at what the defense did this yr thats probably one of the top 10 DC jobs in the NFL

It was more a comment on the unbelievable arrogance that most uf fans have. Btw which head coaching jobs did Durkin supposedly turn down so he could have a chance at becoming the uf DC?

Damn, I'm drawing a mind blank right now. It was MAC-level, though. Nothing major. It's been understood for awhile that Quinn was going back to the pros and he was the heir to the job.
