We will be lucky to keep them both for 2 more years. Hope the raise helps keep them here as long as possible.

I think Craig sticks with Jimbo for a long while. They go way back and Jimbo will do what is necessary to keep him around. Such a good hire by Jimbo. I hope we can keep Eliot as well after Stoops leaves. It will be very difficult but hopefully we can.

Great job by the administrators! I hope Coach Vic gets his next. He spends a lot of time with our guys and get's them ready. What he does can not be underestimated.

Hopefully, but I have a feeling that Auburn will offer him a lot of money at some point.

congrats to both of them. Maybe I'm the only one who feels this way but I always feel a little dirty knowing how much a coach makes. Then again they are state employees

I know a little bit more thant he average bear about Craig (have several friends who played for USA under him). I am not sure he'd jump ship to Auburn. I kinda think he "knows where his bread is buttered", and knows that the success of FSU will ultimately help him climb the ladder, whereas at Auburn he's likely to get hammered with scholly reductions and/or canned/run out if he hits a rough patch in recruiting.
The guy IS dynamite in Alabama. IMO he'll never travel very far for a job.

Recent USA TODAY article had the Noles coaching staff combined salaries at $5,644,100. Less Jimbo's $2,750,000 payday, that would leave our assistant's salaries totaling $2,894,100.
The article has Jimbo ranked fifeenth among head coaches, but with Nutt being fired and the addition of Meyer at OSU and Kelly and Kiffen salaries not being shown, would probably put him at seventeenth.
Total coaching salaries for the Noles are ranked seventh in the article but does not include Notre Dame or USC as they don't reveal salary amounts. And with Urban Meyer going to OSU, they would have a higher payroll. That would probably put the Noles in eleventh place among all schools.
Obviously, these numbers are based on previous data and would not reflect accurate amounts as of this moment.

All those values are $16K higher than reported here. Not sure why.

The link provided showed that Stoops was at $440,000. He received a $150,000 bump to put him at $590,000. Muschamp is now making $3,221,000, $471,000 more than Jimbo.

Seems like various sites will show varying figures for salaries... The article I quoted from perhaps included any bonus that would be included. And it seems would not include recent pay increases since the 2/20/11 date of publication:
