Tunsil

Don't know if anyone read TOS the other day, but I have to give props where it's due. There was a Tunsil interview where he stated after his camp performance, the first coach he called, because he felt he underperformed some, was Rick Trickett to talk about technique.
I have been saying this entire time, that FSU is landing this kid based on a couple of things I have heard, but if that interview doesn't validate it, I don't know what does. He calls Trickett the best OL coach in the country, he states that other coaches tell him he did great, while Trick said he was okay, and then asks Trickett for help with his technique.
Kids don't do that if they aren't expecting to play for that man at some point.
Enjoy the ride. It will go to signing day. Can things change? Sure. But based on what I have been told, and the evidence to support it with that interview, kids a Nole.

What's funny is we landed Goldman with Odell for similar reasons. Other coaches will fawn sll over these kids, ours tell them what they need to work on. If we land tunsil it will be because of trickett and his no nonsense approach

Football and life lessons. In business I have dealt with hundreds of attorneys, engineers, bankers and many business partners etc.. After 30 years, to this day some of the most respected people in my life were the football coaches that took the time and had the commitment to instill the principles of working hard to better myself, taught me discipline and team work. Those lessons have carried with me more than all the Professors, experts and consultants combined.
I think Tunsil will be remembering that call to Trickett for a long time.
Life is good. Now lets go win another championship.

Im takin this approach as well.
Cant concede a talent like Tunsil especailly being in the home state. But I would be more than content with a Golson/Gray combo at the tackles and I hope this long recruitment doesnt burn us in the end with Gray.
Like fsufsu said still holdin on to a glimmer of hope though lol.
