Haha man this entire offense is dreadful. Tough to watch.. Easily compared to the Jeff Bowden years, but worse. Wow they need to get it together at halftime.

I'm at work sweating because I need to drink heavily.... On a lighter note at least the soothing sound of Gene Deckerhoff makes getting plowed in the ass by a bunch of Irishmen somewhat delightful.

It's the entire offense. Whatever the hell is wrong Jimbo needs to swallow his pride and fix it, and I really don't want to hear "I know what the problem is and I'm going to fix it" got tired of hearing that for a decade.
I'm sitting here thinking Stoops' crew is dominating and Jimbo's ain't doing shit. Stoops to HC/DC and Jimbo demoted to OC until he can improve his side of the ball. Salaries switched of course. Let's see if that lights a fire under the offensive staff.

Whomever is responsible for us having ZERO DEPTH on the OL needs to be fired, including Fisher.

Keep running play action on first down and continue to run the option in the second half.
And a few more screens. It's ugly, but we have shown a little life in the second quarter.

That comes down to a lack of recruiting the offensive line to build depth. 2 years ago we got only Daniel Foose who has done nothing to date. Last year was a decent haul of offensive lineman but this year we only have 1 again which is not exactly what we need.

We didn't lose a single starter this summer due to injury. Not a single one. SEVEN of our 14 scholarship OL are FRESHMAN. That's not Fisher and Trickett's fault for poor recruiting?

you would be a hell of a poster if you would stop being positive about everything and call it like it is
our offense blows and at no point in the last 10 quarters has our offense "shown a little life"

I have read your OL posts. You clearly know what your talking about. I just think you paint a picture WAY rosier than reality. You make it seem like we have a solid OL that makes a few mistakes. In reality, we have at least one blocker completely blow an assignment each play, with 2 or 3 the norm. It doesnt help that Jimbo calls plays as if he has an NFL OL, but that doesnt make it okay.
If Trickett and Jimbo cant work together, they need to move on. Its that simple. Trickett really might place Jimbo on the hot seat almost solely.

One starter (Datko) and one backup (Orelus). The other three wouldnt start for a high school playoff team.
