You're allowed to play in 3 of the first 5 and still get a med RS. He played in the first 2, then sat out for 3 weeks and then inexplicably played in week 6 (recording one tackle) which cost him his year. He will be able to apply for a 6th year, but he can't do that until he's exhausted his eligibility

Steward's NSD decision still baffles me, but I am glad he made HIS decision. He has to live with that. I don't think Jimbo would have put him out there in the 6th game, but Tony chose Dabo and Co. So, he gets what he gets....
