On a little bit of side note; I like that Kirkland and Denson are taking their visits the same weekend.

Doak is going to blow him away this weekend in comparison to the Miami and USF games.

Has he been to see any other big time games, that took place at a venue like Doak Campbell Stadium?

If he has only been to see FSU-vs-UM at Sun Life Stadium, and FSU-vs-USF at Raymond James Stadium, he is going to be blown away at a FSU-vs-UF Game at Doak Campbell Stadium.

While the atmosphere at Sun Life, and Raymond James may have been electric, it was the (Dragging my feet on the carpet and then touch the doorknob) kind of electric.

What he is going to experience at The Doak today will be the (Playing golf during a thunderstorm) kind of ELECTRIC! and that is going to be blow him away!

There are only a few games a year that can match the atmosphere of the game taking place in Tally this afternoon, and after this weekend there isn't anymore left to be played this year.
The SEC Championship Game is the only one that has a chance to come close, and of course the BCS Championship Game, but technically it isn't played until next years. The most important thing about both those games, neither of them are played on the campus of the participating teams.

Just think about the first time you saw a big time game at The Doak, and what that was like...If this is his first time to a game like this, he really doesn't even know what he is in for, and that has to be a huge advantage for us NOLES.

Look, Kirkland did not fly, he drove. However, Kirkland is on an official visit and Thomas is not.

Kirkland is staying until Monday. Remember it is an official visit, his hotel and food is all paid for for the 2 days he's there.

Matthew Thomas cannot just tag along. He would have to purchase two nights of hotel rooms in Tallahassee on his own dime. Do you know what hotels in Tally are going for tonight? It's ridiculous.

Matt can't just tag along and crash in Kirkland's room, that would be a major violation.

Stop worrying. Thomas will be on campus in January for an official. He visited twice in the summer and has already seen FSU play in person twice this fall.

I think that about sums up how I feel about that.

Without him, we still have a great group of LBs committed, but he would have given us a great LB committed.

The good thing is, a great group, is better than a great individual; but a great group, with a great individual, is even better.

Let's hope that is what happens.
