The sanction stigma is losing steam. These recruits know that with what Miami has given up already the worst would be maybe one more bowl ban and scholarship reductions. It is not about NCAA credibility is more of the fact that UF and FSU are a little nervous that Miami is on its way back and recruiting is going to get tougher in S. Fla. They not transgressions, they are still rumors aside from what little has been confirmed. If you know of other FACTS please share the link. You are right on the point that kids are going to choose certain schools for family reasons or personal preferences.

I have no idea why you guys think so highly of your football program to think that it would effect us. We were recruiting just fine when Miami was winning National Championships.

It is what it is, you have more championships than us. I'm not debating that, nor do I care really. FSU fans and Miami fans arguing over the 80's and 90's in 2012/2013 is one of the dumbest things I have witnessed on the internet.
My statement is in reflection of the Cane poster thinking we're getting nervous that we will never land a good recruit from South Florida again. Florida State has ALWAYS recruited at an elite level, no matter how good Florida or Miami were.

They always crack me up with the 5 championships talk, what's funny is most were probably only fans for 1 or 2 of those games and may be too young entirely. I wasn't an fsu fan growing up as my dad was a gator and I grew up in NC, didn't really care too much one way or the other. I remember watching Charlie ward play a little bit as I was around 7-8 yrs old and remember the '99 season very well, but bragging about those championships is such old news and so irrelevant that it reeks of desperation to constantly bring it up. It's fine if you are proud of your teams history, but its ridiculously weak to constantly bring it up so far removed from that time.

Well I have seen all of the Titles and I am like 47, and you do realize we have Played in 10 National Title games right , so I remember when you guys played like in 1999 but we were last in a Title game in 2003.
Most Miami fans don't live in the Past we state facts just like ND and Bama and Nebraska and Oklahoma and all the rest of teams who have dominated in the Past, Heck I for One still can't understand why you guys only have 2 when you have had a lot of Talent just like Miami and UF that have come thru your program/
