  • We should make WVU play here in 2013. Forget the legal process for recoupment of any losses for cancellation of the 2012 game. Let's force them to honor their trip to Tallahassee.

  • I think it is garbage that the season ticket didn't go down...that flat out sucks IMO! The game isn't even worth going to if you live out of town, so many season ticket holders are getting screwed out of $70. There should at least be at $20 difference, if not the complete $30 difference that the single game ticket costs.

  • It's hard to criticize when I don't know all the factors but it seems an additional home game in 13 would have been better for FSU. That's ok though, WVU is our bitch anyways. I wonder if they will still have their qb and wr's in 13. They are pretty good and the D loses some big time players that year.

  • I don't believe it's just as easy as saying, "OK, you come play here now." I believe that all this Big XII stuff is all well and good and makes for a nice excuse for WVU to cancel the game ... but I don't think they're shedding any tears about dodging the opponent either.

  • Could this be foreshadowing. I didnt really buy the Big XII talks but could we be keeping this game on the schedule because it would be a conference game anyways? With all the shakeups in college football over the last couple of years nothing would surprise me.

Nobody's getting screwed out of $70. And there is still a 13% savings in season tickets over individual game tickets. Don't get the fuss. You're complaining about $20? That amount would prevent someone from buying season tickets?

If WVU was $70 I'm going to assume Clemson and UF are the same price. That means for our other 5 home games you pay an average of $36.20 per ticket. That's pretty cheap imo.

  • Sounds like us saying we're "planning" on going up to WVU next year and "hope" we have the opportunity is more administrative speak prior to WVU cancelling that game as well, like we probably know is going to happen.

All this talk about NEEDING 7 home games, yet playing at WVU next year would leave us with only 6 home games. I saw an article earlier about how the Gator Bowl/Jacksonville is trying to get us to play UCF there next year. While that'd go against the 7-game home schedule it goes to show that while we "hope" to play at WVU next year we may not expect to.
