Who and what army is going to stop anyone not named UVA from recruiting in the 757. Wishful thinking on their part.

I lived in that area from 97 through 2008. A lot of the coaches don't even like each other. Coach Jackson from Salem and Coach Beatty from Landstown (Damon and Percy) were not popular among their peers. Don't know if all the coaches in that area would collude to keep FSU out. Also the Peninsula area which primarily consists of Hampton (Tahj Boyd, Ronald Curry) and Newport News (Michael Vick, Allen Iverson) is widely considered a separate area. I would doubt they would be part of any collusion either. Lastly UVA's recruiting prowess in that area started when Coach London arrived. One of the first things he did was start a joint camp with ODU Coach Wilder. It was mutually beneficial, as ODU was just starting its program. This got London easy access to the players but more importantly the coaches in the area.

From what I gathered UVA is doing a pretty darn good job distributing the impression that a certain amount of racism runs rampant at VT and in their staff. The propaganda is being widely distributed just like somebody else in this post alluded to.

Something was said by Beamer in regards to the influence Coach Cutler has over kids in the 757. I'm not sure what was said, but Cutler lashed out at Beamer like this....

UVA is a propaganda machine right now. if they have another 4-8/3-9 season will London be fired? he is sitting at 16-21 ATM.

In that group, only Brown is from the 757, though. VA Beach area's influence will not extend to DC area, where all the rest are located. Woodbridge (where Hand is from) is NoVa...right next to DC.
