Obviously, there are few Bjoern Werner's coming out of high school, but do we have anyone committed that are close to playing well above their recruiting rankings quickly like Werner did? If so, what recruits should I keep an eye on? Not just talking about a DE, but any lower ranked prospect we might have committed at this time that could be college ready by the end of their freshman season

My vote would be TE Jeremy Kerr. He is not committed but thought to be a guy heavily considering FSU despite being currently committed to UM. He offers a ton of projection as an OT with his 6-6 255 frame. If we brought him in and groomed him as an OT he could be very similar to Eric Winston, a guy who UM brought in as a 6-7 260 TE and played TE his freshman year. Winston ended up being an All-ACC performer and multiple ProBowler in the NFL. My guess is that Jimbo and Trickett want this guy really really bad for this reason.
I'll also put in a second place vote for John Franklin if he can ever be convinced to be a safety or CB.

I think Franklin will surprise at any position he plays. QB, DB, WR. There is just something about him.
