I tend think the execution was fine... that pitch was impossible for Boyd to get a piece of, the freshman catcher just threw a bullet down to second base.

I get it... and I tend to agree with you it wasn't a bad call. I probably would have run Travis with Ramsay up though. If you bunt Ramsay, they walk Boyd and now we have one out with McGee up, we just took the bat away from our best two hitters. If Boyd gets a pitch he can hit, and executes, the game is probably over and we are talking about Martin's great call.
