Ya, being small means you have to be elusive and quick on your feet like Manziel and R. Wilson. Trickett taking a monster hit during a game could knock him out for the season and cause a lot of problems.

Trickett is the starting QB to open the season. Period. I've been adamant about this and I still think this is the case. Personally I think chances are above 90%. Whether he holds onto the job all season remains to be seen and we will definitely see Jaboo play. I also think that Jaboo could take over for Trickett next year (doesn't happen often obviously with a senior QB being replaced, but I do think Winston is that talented).

Y'all are simply expecting way too much from Winston considering he's only going to be two years removed from HS. With the way Jimbo likes things executed perfectly, having a smart kid who has been in the system for a number of years...it's a match made in heaven.

We'll be better off with Trickett this year than we were with Manuel. Not a doubt in my mind. Now, it's possible we can be even better than that with Winston. It remains to be seen whether we'll get a chance to see that this year.

He will play in the first game after jaboo puts up 35 in the first half and Coker puts up 21 in the third quarter. That's when trickett will play In the first game

That's funny, to my memory EJ almost always overthrew receivers who were seriously wide open long. He seemed to get overexcited and put too much juice on it. If he had under thrown a few more, that woulda been nice.

The job is Clints to keep. Jimbo himself has implied this. I'm on the same page and a firm believer in CT. I'm taking nothing away from JC and JW, we also can't forget Sean. This is a good pain that I think no other team in the country has, period. 4 potential starting QBs all capable starters and possesing unique traits. God I love the Noles!!!!!!

Hopefully most of you are trolling, we better hope CT isn't the starter. He is exactly what, 0-2 as a starter, and didnt play any meaningful snaps last season. He has no legs so takes a nice piece of the playbook away because of that. Winston has that it factor and is an extremely smart kid.
