  • We will be updating this once a week between now and National Signing Day. Obviously, there is a good chance a couple new names emerge in early January with the adjustments made to the FSU staff.

  • I am sorry, but Miami has out done us again. They have a big white board with names on it for recruiting.

  • I'm a little surprised that you have Kirkland listed as very good. Can you give any insight into that?

  • Nicely done. Looking forward to the updates.

  • Did we even think about going after Jared Davis or Travis Johnson out of Camden county ga? Now Jared Davis is going to Florida and Travis Johnson is the sleeper heading to North Carolina or Miami. We need to recruit as if we are playing in the SEC, not the ACC. Jeeezzzz

Are you related to either of those young men?

  • January should be an interesting month.

All games are important, if you don't think so try losing one and see how people act.-B.Bowden

They forgot to get the dry-erase type, and now have to paint over it every evening.

The only players that were FSU worthy Camdenites IMO were JJ and Brice and Brice only as a kicker, but I wish them well at UGA.

  • Since you have Tony Stevens marked as "Very Good" what are the chances he does end up with FSU. From all of the updates I wouldn't have expected him to be marked so high.

  • Wow, we have the (approx) same chance of signing Collins and Tunsil? We're Tunsil's #3.

At this point, I would consider Florida State No. 2 for Collins.

With Tunsil, he will still take an official to Florida State and it could change things. I'd have Georgia 1, Bama 2 and FSU 3. This could definitely change after his official and in-home with Fisher. As I've said for the last few weeks, FSU is trending upward on this one.

We've been saying for a couple weeks now that we expect him to sign with FSU. It's where his mom wants him and normally momma wins out.

I do think Ohio State is the biggest threat for FSU, but this will be his first and only visit. As it gets closer we'll try to find out if his mom will be with him on the trip. That will be important to watch.

I guess with all the OSU updates it just threw me off the trail. I would be happy to land him though I think he could be really good. Would we take him and Coley?

  • Tom,

Those are some impressive predictions, do you strongly feel that way for every player, kinda seems unrealistic when some of those guys are really looking elsewhere, Ex: living in Georgia Tunsil is looked upon as a Huge lock for them, kinda upsetting how Georgia keeps dipping into Fla and pulling top linemen, I don't get that.

Also Artie Burns is strong to the canes the only School I see him looking at is LSU but I do feel FSU looks good for most of the other recruits, Kirkland could land at either Miami or FSU and Thomas the same, I didn't think Collins still has FSU that high, sounds like Fla is in a good position., overall you did a good job I just think some of these guys are looking elsewhere .

    Re: Burns
We have him listed as 'fair', which would be a 2 out of 5. Burns is still being recruited by FSU and could switch come Signing Day, but we feel as a whole that he will stick with his commitment.

    Re: Tunsil
Alabama fans think he's a lock to them, Georgia fans think he is a lock to them and FSU fans think they have little to no shot. I feel that FSU is trending up for Tunsil. I wouldn't predict him to FSU at this time, but my opinion could change depending on how his in-home and official visit go. Getting the final visit was big for the Seminoles.

    Re: Collins
I'd have UF leading right now, followed by FSU and Miami. Collins likes Miami a lot, but hates the sanction issue. I know he stated publically that it won't have any bearing on his decision, but it will and it does. This is still a toss up and will depend on who FSU brings in at RB coach.

Too dumb to understand the scale.

  • Tom,

I see your logic, does anybody get How Georgia is making such an impact with the OL guys in Fla also why are the south fla kids seem to take such awhile to make their Decisions, I have been following Recruiting for Over 30 years and I still can't figure out the thought process some of these kids use to logically Chose the best fit for them, Cause what we all know Coaches get fired or they leave same as assistants , programs go on probation, I always thought you Choose the school you see yourself for 4-5 years and the one that has your major, cause who is to say you don't get hurt or you never go Pro.

  • I noticed you guys are confident that Tim Williams signs with FSU. What changed? Seemed like he was favoring Miami at some point. And I also heard that LSU backed off due to academic issues, why would we continue to pursue if that was the case?
