  • Just my quick take on a few of the overrated/underrated five-stars.

Feel free to share your thoughts on the entire list.

    Overrated

Reuben Foster - I think that his senior season struggles could be a sign of a questionable work ethic. Kid has so much talent and I'd love to see what he can do if he stays focused for three years. Definitely should be a first round pick in the NFL Draft a few years from now.

Montravius Adams - The more I watch on him, the more I begin to dislike. He is very disruptive when he wants to be, but I'm not sure if he will prove to be anywhere near a top 10 player from this class. He will be a solid player in college, but I don't believe he will be an all conference first team player during his career.

Christian Hackenberg - I think I stand alone on this one, but I don't see it. I just think there are far too many flaws about his game that will keep him from becoming an elite QB. I think Max Browne is the star QB from this class. Hackenberg has the tools, but I don't know if he will put them all together. I've seen players do more with less than what he had around him in HS.

Keith Ford - I see the talent that he possesses, but I don't see an elite, top 2 - 3 back in the country when I watch him play. He's a solid back, but far from first round NFL Draft potential in my opinion.

    Underrated

Laremy Tunsil - I have him as the No. 2 player in the country behind Nkemdiche and only him. There is nothing that I see as a weakness about his game. Great footwork, terrific strength and the will to be great.

Robert Foster - This kid is extremely talented and will prove to be a top 10 player from this class. I think he has the talent to becoming a great receiver at Alabama, as long as he stays focused and keeps his eye on his future.

Vonn Bell - Whether it's at Alabama or Ohio State, this kid is going to be special. I expect big things from him, including All-American potential. Love the attitude this kid plays with and his instincts and playmaking abilities are second to none.

  • I think Kelvin Taylor is overrated. His last name moves him up about 100 spots higher as opposed to where he should be.

    I agree.

I have him behind Bryant, Collins, and R Green just in Florida alone. He is slightly ahead of Folston and Henry (only b/c I like him on defense better) IMHO.... I also like J. Smith and AJ Turman.

Overall he is behind Yearby, Cook, and Sony M also.

Name=Number in this case. I'm a big Freddy T fan b/c of what he did with the Jags.

K Taylor is physically impressive, just don't see the 5* ranking from film. Although he does catch the ball fairly well out of the backfield. Looks like he just out athletes most of his competition. Not to mention he has superior trainers, coach (father), and nutrition plans. This is something that the others will benefit tremendously from at the next level. Just imagine Collins and Bryant when they get a personal trainer like Vic or someone and get proper nutrition.
