He is listed at 5-11, 196 on Seminoles.com
But some have said he has bulked up to at least 200-plus, as he has 100% committed himself physically to be our safety.
I think all of us are in agreement that he has a bright future at Florida State, and really showed out in the second half of the season. He even looked good at corner his freshman year when he played sparingly, and had a nice pass break up against one of the cupcakes.
Even last year, Stoops continued to cross train him at safety and nickel, just in case, and because Stoops love to have versatility and options in his secondary for situations like THIS.
Now, hypothetically, what is the light comes on for Karlos Williams from Aug 6 all the way up to Murray State on Sept 1? Do you think we would slide Brooks back to the position we recruited him at?
I know the majority of us on here had pegged Los as our starter going into this season when he signed his LOI to Florida State. Now, if all remains as is, it appears that we will only get two seasons minimum out of Karlos as a starter going into his Junior season. Personally, I expect more out of 5-star prospects, and am still smh [shaking my head] at how poorly he handled everything last year.
Fortunately, I do believe our secondary will be just as good this year, with or without Reid. His biggest value to our team was that he was the best return man in college football, and teams were scared to even kick to him. As a defender, he was high risk/high reward, consistently breaking off of his assignments to try and go for the highlight reel.
What are your thoughts?

Whatever is in the best interest of the team. IF the light comes on for Williams to where there will be no drop off between him and Brooks, and IF Brooks can even still play CB and be effective, then I'd be okay with it.
I personally don't believe either will/would happen.

I was wondering to myself earlier today if Karlos could actually play corner. He is one of the fastest players on the team, I just wasn't sure if he had the swivel to play the position or not. I know he played just about everywhere in high school, physical, good ball skills and extremely athletic. You wouldn't think someone of his size would be able to play corner normally, but in Stoops system I actually think he could be a damn good boundary corner. Maybe even some time at the nickel position, think of the flexibility we'd have in the nickel package.
I agree about Reid, we'll miss him on punt returns but as a corner he never set the world on fire and as Bush said he was a high risk/high reward player. Those worried about missing his leadership, I think Timmy Majic will make up for that. That kid is a monster and seems like he will become a great vocal leader.
