Technical Issues With This Site!

  • I would post in the existing thread but my reply button has disappeared. I thought this was a temporary bug last night but it is no better this morning. I am on Firefox 16.0.2 on OSX and the layout is rendering correctly. My tabs are missing, the ads are running vertically taking up a lot of space, no hot/warm/cool/new icons to the left, and no ability to reply to a topic. Here is a screenshot...

    It is no better on Safari. I have opened in Firefox, Chrome, and Safari all the same.

    Thanks Chris! I followed your suggestion in the other thread and cleared my browser cache and now the site is operating fine. May I suggest a pinned thread with this solution for the time being? Thanks for responding so promptly.

    Style sheets were jacked up around 7-8 pm last night. The developers fixed it, but some users may be seeing a cached page still. If they clear their cache or shift refresh the page, it will fix it.

  • Thanks for your patience guys. The only thing Chris and I can control is the content on the site. The tech guys work hard behind the scenes, but sometimes there are issues that pop up that are beyond our control.

    We will continue to get those issues reported and resolved as quickly as possible.

    In this case, it came from a site update done last night and the solution is to clear your cache or "shift refresh" and it will fix it.

  • We apologize for the style sheet issue that some users are experiencing this morning. We discovered an issue last evening with quote boxes not showing up properly. They no longer had a gray background causing it to blend in with a user's reply. In fixing the quote box, style sheets (the way the site/board appear in your browser) were jacked up. We fixed this issue around 8 p.m. CT, but it appears there are some still having trouble. If you clear your cache and you still receive the messed up pages, please let me know. Thanks.
