Stork at Right Tackle?

  • I havent been following the spring very closely. Can someone explain why Stork is the first team right tackle? What am I missing here?

  • looks like barron is going to be the starting center and Stork is going to be the starting rt. Jimbo said he is over 300 lbs now and has really impressed. Will definitely be watching our tackle play in the spring game to see if that sentiment is legit.

    sickofwarchant

  • Barron is playing really well and it's spring so the coaches are seeing if another RT can step up and allow them to RS Hart. Last year's injury crisis was a fluke, only our fans believe our 10th OL needs to be ready asap lol

  • Is stork tall enought to play out there? Thought he was only like 6'2, 6'3. Whats going on with that JUCO kid? Any word on him?

  • I know pictures don't really tell the whole story but everytime I see Barron, he just looks so much smaller than the other lineman on our team...

    seminolelive84

  • Barron looks tiny because he's always between Tre and Matias who are both 6'4-6'5 320+

Jimbo says Stork is 6'4 316 which means he's prolly 6'3ish 305. but he's stronger and more experienced than Hart, while not as athletic. remember Hart turns 18 in august. he should be finishing up his Junior year in high school right now, not going into his soph year in college. it's my hope that Stork and Watson can hold down the RT job this year and allow Hart to come back next year as a rs soph, 19, with a full year of lifting underneath him.

Stork is 6'4 has simply outplayed Bobby to this point in spring. Outside of Watson being more developed then many of us expect, Stork is going to be our starting right tackle next year.

  • Stock is 6'4 307 according to the official roster release. Barron is 6'3 295, so yes, he looks significantly smaller because he is significantly smaller than our 315-330 lineman. He is by no means small though.

You can count me on team Faircloth being 3rd string. I have never seen a flash of anything to make me think he's a top 8 ol on our roster.

    Cam
    Matias
    Barron
    Jackson
    Stork or hart

That's how I see the ol but anyone's opinion is just guess at this point. This is my opinion based on watching the games the Last 2 years. Any progress made over the offseason is impossible to gauge because even the mods see 20 min of. Practice atmost

I'm not sure if Faircloth can beat out either Hart or Stork. The only player I can see taking Stork spot right now is Watson and Watson would have to be more technically developed then I think he is.

Leighty is currently beefin with Canolee. His post is making fun of Canolee.

It was intense. Leighty went with the passive aggressive approach.

  • Not really sure what you guys all think of this whole situation, but what do you guys think Glauser will do this year? What with the NCAA only giving him a year to play and all.

    Kind of a douch-ey post.

Canolee brings a lot of insight and analysis to the table. Even if you disagree with it or find the analysis lacking, people on here enjoy reading it. You, on the other hand, bring nothing particularly useful or entertaining to the table. So, perhaps you can lay off him?

Glauser would have been a nice college starting LT if Cam didn't flip. Cam looks the part and it appears from all reports is playing at a high level.

    PVBNole

  • I have this little voice in the back of my mind telling me that Glauser is going to have to play well for a part of this season if FSU is going to make a BCS bowl game. I also think that the NCAA needs to reconsider Glauser's case in light of what a student-athlete ought to be and grant him two years of eligibility.

    This is all debatable.

How can you say that? His breakdowns during the year are some of the few truly valuable posts that come from general posters.

If it's these breakdowns that have led him to the conclusion that Faircloth should start, then I don't know how valuable they can be.

How about you go back and watch all our games and break down the OL and DL and give us a review of them? Till you do this you can shut the hell up and let canolee do the breakdowns.

Don't tempt me. I can churn out some relatively well-written breakdowns, be hailed a guru, and be e-fellated by those who don't know any better with the best of them.

I think you missed the point of my post, which is that it doesn't really matter if you agree with him. People on this site (myself included) enjoy reading canolee's breakdowns and they provide value and entertainment.

If you are not bringing analysis of your own that is equally enjoyable, then I would guess that most posters would prefer you and Leighty not snipe on people that are enjoyable to read.

    Thanks in advance.
