Are you always so pessimistic? You complain about the recruiting so far this year, then, when it's favorable, you shoot it down. At the end of the day, the ESPN rankings have the biggest impact on the perception of a program's prominence in recruiting. Signing Day is an all day event on that network that can be beneficial to the programs that are given ample air time. FSU has gotten great press from their rankings.

I really like this kid at LB. I think he plays sideline to sideline. Has very good size and looks like a FSU LB. Really like this commitment.

I wasn't trying to be pessimistic... I was saying I looked at the 4* on ESPN but I was more skeptical with him not being on here I never really looked at him...I think people misunderstand a lot of what I'm saying cause of the tone isn't going over well in text but I mean I like this kids film and I even called him beast earlier to show that... just was more or less asking people that know more about him than I do..with them as they aren't really that good with rankings in my opinion.. and I didn't know anything about him... I believe everything people were saying which is why I asked... not pessimistic just not knowledgeable on this particular kid...

-But I do like when our recruits are on ESPN for that reason its a lot of national exposure...I know what it means to the program

They also give out very few 5 stars.

You don't know that. He never said uf was his 1st choice, just that if they offered they "would be up there". If uf were his first choice I imagine he would have waited until FNL to see if he got his offer.

There is such a disparity in rankings with the main services. For instances, take EJ Leven berry. He gets 4 stars from all of them. However, look we're he's ranked nationally.

ESPN -- 286th in nation
RIVALS -- 21st in nation!!!

Rivals, the stingiest of the three, would say Levenberry is by far the best LB in our class.

I've noticed drastic disparities with Bain, Stevenson, Baker and others. I don't get it. What are these scouts seeing?

Ryan Hoefeld was pick # 14 how is stevenson # 16.......who was pick up # 15?????
