This game, I thought we won then all of a sudden I see the refs going over to the table, so I prayed that it would stand, but no luck.

This game made me hate the ACC that much more...

Man, the refs were just bad all game. For both teams. And then you watch a Big East game and see real officiating. Makes me sick.

I notice they shot 21 freethrows to our 5.

I knew once I seen the refs go to the monitor. If it was close they were going to give it to VT. We still gave them the game with stupid turnovers though

Tough call, and a tough loss. It looked good in full speed, but once you slowed it down, I thought they got it right.

What upset me even more was our previous possession when Snaer got stripped. Coming out of the TO, Hamilton was yelling "watch for the trap!" and yet we (don't remember who - Louks or Dulkys) threw that stupid in-bounds to Snaer right between a couple defenders. I was screaming at the TV immediately, and then of course he got stripped and we all know how it ended. That was really the play that allowed the rest of the game to unfold the way it did.

It's a tough loss, but honestly I'd rather us rest up, get Singleton back to 100%, and try to make a Sweet 16 run in the NCAAs. And it doesn't hurt that the ACC will get an extra team in now.
